Presets? Here we go!
Just the time to surrender to the Adobe photography suite (Photoshop and Lightroom) and complete my lynda.com training courses, I had immediately found the bright side of the moon: the boundless ocean of customizations and automation opportunities.
Among them, one in particular captured my attention: The Sleeklens Presets and workflows.
So, once the clearly documented installation has completed, I had to change a bit my normal workflow which usually begins with Adobe Bridge, passes through DxO Optics pro, continues in Photoshop and ends in Lightroom.
The big thing is that I shortened it: now it starts in the same way, but instead of entering Photoshop I just import my Tiff from DxO directly into Lightroom, where I use the Landscape Essentials Workflows.
The set has tens of presets, they suit a large number of situations, from black and white to HDR simulations and a lot more.
So, after some testing it is clear that The Sleeklens Workflows are a good point of start and a great way to improve your RAWs in a quick and non destructive way.
What else? This set is a true killer application which can grant great results to professionals and amateurs. I feel confident to recommended it to everyone.
They have been revealed a huge help in getting an idea of how an image can be improved with just some clicks, up to quick produce final products if a rapid workflow is needed.

What more?
I’m not used to pre-cooked filters, presets, actions and workflows, but these are absolutely great!!
In few clicks, I saved hours in producing my latest batch of images to upload to Getty Images, bringing the photos close to a final product.
(I say close because I’m a damn perfectionist and rarely I do something fully automatic).
